Couple / Life360

Read Acquisition

Early mobile product design work across Couple, a private communication app for two, and Life360 after the Couple acquisition.

Led iOS product design for Couple, a YC-backed private messaging app for two people, then continued designing mobile product surfaces at Life360 after the acquisition. This period shaped my foundation in consumer mobile UX, interaction design, and high-trust communication products.

What I owned

Mobile product craft

Designed mobile UI flows, interaction patterns, high-fidelity screens, and product details for a consumer communication product.

Developer collaboration

Worked closely with engineers on assets, interactions, UX flows, and mobile implementation details.

Consumer UX

Developed early product judgment around intimate, high-frequency, emotionally sensitive mobile software.

Life360 transition

Joined Life360 through the Couple acquisition and continued mobile product design work across iOS and Android surfaces.

What it does

Couple, originally Pair, was a private communication app for two people. Life360 acquired Couple as part of its broader family communication and location platform strategy.

Why it matters

This is where my product design foundation was built: small teams, mobile constraints, emotional UX, direct engineering collaboration, and shipping product surfaces that had to feel simple, personal, and reliable.
