OtherplaceOS is operated by Otherplace Studio. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use OtherplaceOS.
+Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through Google OAuth authentication. We do not store your Google password.
Platform Usage Data
We collect information about how you use OtherplaceOS, including proposals created, client records, engagement configurations, and AI assistant interactions. This data is stored securely to provide and improve the Platform.
Payment Information
If you connect a payment processor through Stripe Connect, we receive limited transaction metadata (amounts, dates, status) to display payment tracking within the Platform. We do not store full credit card numbers. Stripe processes and stores payment credentials in accordance with their own privacy policy.
AI Interactions
OtherplaceOS includes Orchestrator, an AI-powered deal structuring assistant. Prompts and responses are processed through third-party AI providers (Anthropic) to generate recommendations. We may retain interaction logs to improve the Platform. AI interactions are not used to train third-party models.
Automatically Collected Information
We collect standard log data including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and improve functionality.

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve OtherplaceOS; process your account registration and authentication; generate proposals, engagement calculations, and deal structure recommendations; display payment tracking and revenue analytics; send transactional communications related to your account; respond to support requests; and ensure Platform security and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We use third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI services), and Vercel (hosting). These providers access your information only to perform services on our behalf.
With Your Consent
We share information when you explicitly direct us to, such as when sending proposals to clients.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
+Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
+Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication protocols, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
+Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your account and associated data; export your data in a portable format; and opt out of non-essential communications. OtherplaceOS integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies: Google (authentication), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (AI).

OtherplaceOS is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of OtherplaceOS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
